Food Lawyers Network

Food law is becoming increasingly important to food producers and trade organizations. But different legal requirements for the production, distribution and marketing of food apply within the Member States of the European Union.

So when it comes to cross-border trade, the food industry must rely on the support of lawyers specializing in food law, who have detailed knowledge of the national and international regulations.

The Food Lawyers Network e. V. (FLN) was established in the early 2000’s in order to enable an effective international cooperation in the complex area of food law.

FLN is made up of experts, who are among the best in their home countries when it comes to food law.

The network allows for an international exchange of experiences and knowledge. Thanks to the sharing of scientific ideas, important insight are gained as regards the application of law and the further development of the law.

FLN organizes congresses and seminars and publishes comparative documents in the area of food law.
