Lawyers - Demila Biscevic
Demila Biscevic studied political science and law at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2012, majoring in International Law, European Law and Private International Law. Subsequently, she studied law at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster and the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana, Slovenia, which she completed in 2015 with the First State Examination in Law (Erstes Staatsexamen). After working for one year at the Law Graduation of the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster, Ms Biscevic started her legal clerkship (Referendariat) at the Landgericht Hagen in the district of the Oberlandesgericht Hamm in 2017. She completed it with the Second State Examination in 2019.
Ms Biscevic joined KWG Rechtsanwälte as Rechtsanwältin (practising lawyer) in 2020. She advises and represents the interests of entrepreneurs in matters of national and European food law. One of the main areas of practice is providing legal advice to and representation of food producers of animal origin in connection with the labelling and composition of foodstuffs and the clarification and defence of related official complaints within the framework of administrative and judicial proceedings. Ms Biscevic also has particular expertise in the area of consumer information law.
