Professor of Food Law at the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück, specialist Attorney for Intellectual Property Law, member of the legal committee of “Lebensmittelverband Deutschland” (German Federation of Food Law and Food Science, previously BLL), member of the scientific advisory Board of the Research Centre for Food Law and Feed Law at the Philipps-University Marburg, member of the GRUR technical committee for pharmaceutical and food law, founder and chairman of the Food Lawyers’ Network Worldwide e.V., member of Association Internationale des Juristes du Droit de la Vigne et du Vin (AIDV)/International Wine Law Association (IWLA).
