Rechtsanwältin Hildegard Schöllmann studied law at the University of Cologne and the Universiteit van Amsterdam.

She advises national and international companies on all kinds of food and cosmetics. Thereby she comprehensively monitors product developments with regard to their composition, labelling as well as their marketing and protection.

Other focal points of her work are the development of sustainable concepts for food law compliance, including advice in the context of risk and complaint management.

She represents companies in disputes with competitors and authorities, including in criminal and sanction proceedings.

Rechtsanwältin Schöllmann has special expertise in connection with protected geographical indications (PGIs) and protected designations of origin (PDOs) as well as in the field of food online retailing.

She publishes articles and gives lectures on various food law issues.
